Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Ke’oke’o (pure white with no distinguishable markings) coloring. The strands are connected by a 21x28mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the ‘āpu’upu’u (bumpy cowrie) variety with superbly-matched white color.
This lei measures approximately 41 inches in length, creating a 20.5 inch ‘drop length’ when worn.
