33g MUTTON FAT JADE PENDANT WITH BAMBOO, TREE, AND ‘FOREST POEM’ CARVING (110524-03)
This piece of mutton fat jade has been skillfully carved to exhibit botanical motifs on one side and the traditional Chinese “Forest Poem” on the other. A pair of holes have been drilled into the top side of the carving, allowing it to be easily threaded onto a chain or ribbon and worn as a pendant.
This piece measures approximately 47mm long, 30mm wide, and 10mm thick.
Total weight: 33.06g.
From a known Hawaii-based antique collector. Has been in private hands since 1930. First time to be exhibited. Please ask us any questions prior to purchasing.
