Three Strand Ni’ihau Shell Lei: Pikake Momi Lenalena 36 inches

Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.

All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (slightly yellow/off-white) coloring. The strands are connected by a 26mmX18mm  Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the ‘Āpu’upu’u (bumpy cowrie) variety with superbly-matched color.

This lei measures approximately 36 inches in length, creating a 18 inch ‘drop length’ when worn.
