This piece has ten strands of Momi (dove shells) strung together in the Pololei (stacked end-to-end) style. The shells are of the Lenalena (cream/off-white) coloration and are connected by a Pōlehole Apu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie shell) that measures approximately 26mm long by 19mm wide.
The lei measures about 48 inches long, creating a 24 inch 'drop-length' when worn.
