Expertly crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawai'i, this lei is truly a work of art.
Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Ke'oke'o Kua Ula (clean white with red dotted ends) coloration. The strands are connected by a 28mmX19mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the 'Āpu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie) variety with superbly-matched color.
This lei measures approximately 40 inches in length, creating a 20 inch 'drop length' when worn.
