Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (slightly yellow/off-white) coloring. Each end of the strand is connected by a 22mmX11mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the Elelu (smooth cowrie) variety with a light gold color.
This lei measures approximately 62 inches in length, creating a 31 inch 'drop length' when worn.
