Omni Prive has taken the 2015 Grand Prize for a black opal ring. 4.33 carat Lightning Ridge Black opal is the stunning center of this piece and although all the entries are judged as retail items, this “Best Ring Design over $10,000” doesn’t come cheap. Adorned with two tsavorite (green) garnets .46 carats, .42 carats of diamonds, and .24 carats of blue sapphires, this ring is a stunningly rare find with an opal as large and colorful as it is.

I am excited and honored that it has been recognized amongst so many beautiful entries,” said the president and designer of Omi Prive. They were also a finalist for Best Platinum Jewelry Design over $10,000 with a 9.66ct black opal.
