Description

Hand-crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawaii, this lei is truly a work of art.

Strung in the Poe'Poe Paha style, each layer of shells is nestled neatly within the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena Kua Ele (yellow/off white with black dotted tip) coloration. The strands are conneted by a 29mmX18mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell that ties the ends of each strand together) of the Apu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie shell) variety with a slightly richer and more rare coloration.
This lei measures approximately 41 inches in length, creating a 20.5 inch 'drop length' when worn.
