Strung in the Poe'Poe style, each layer of shells is nestled neatly within the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (yellow/off white) and Lenalena Kua Ele (yellow/off white with black dotted tip) colorations. The strands are connected by a 28mmX18mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell that ties the ends of each strand together) of the Malina (smooth cowrie shell) variety with a rich spotted pattern.
This lei measures approximately 38 inches in length, creating a 19 inch 'drop length' when worn.
