This piece has five strands of Laiki (rice shells) strung together in the Pololei (stacked end-to-end) style. The shells are of the Ke’oke’o (pure white) coloration and are connected by a Pōlehole Malina (smooth cowry shell) that measures approximately 19mm long by 12mm wide.
