Expertly crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawai'i, this choker necklace and earring set is truly a work of art.

Lei:
Strung in the Kahelelani style, the shells interlace to create a consistent spiraling pattern. All shells are of the Kahelelani (Turban shell) variety with alternating sections of Akala (pink), Keokeo (pale pink), Ula Ula (red/dark pink), Maku'e (brown/burgundy), and Oma'oma'o (green) colorations. Each end of the strands are finished with a well-matched pair of 12mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which conceals a hook and eye closure) of the Malina (smooth cowrie) variety.
Typically referred to as a 'choker', this necklace measures approximately 18 inches in length and sits higher on the collar than a lei.

Earrings:
Constructed to resemble island flowers, each earring features Momi Lenalena (off-white dove) and Kahelelani Akala (pink turban) shells. These 'flowers are approximately 17mm in diameter and are attached to post backings, making them suitable for use in pierced ears.
