Hand-crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawaii, this unique Lei and Earring Set is truly a work of art.
Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells is nestled seamlessly within the next.
All shells are of the Momi (dove shell) variety with Lenalena (yellow/off-white) coloration.
Each strand of the lei is connected together by a 25mmX16mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell that conceals the string ends) of the Apu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie shell) variety with a superbly matched color.
The lei measures approximately 36 inches long, creating a 18 inch "drop length" when worn.
The earrings feature a single strand each and, measure approximately 1.25 inches in length. Press backings allow for easy use in pierced ears.
