NI'IHAU SHELL LEI 3 STRAND PIKAKE KE'OKE'O POLEHOLEHO APU'UPU'U 30 INCH (2947-03)

Expertly crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawai'i, this lei is truly a work of art.

Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (slightly yellow/off-white) coloring. Each of the three strands are connected by a 19mmX27mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the Apu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie) variety with superbly-matched color.
This lei measures approximately 30 inches in length, creating a 15 inch 'drop length' when worn.
