Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (slightly yellow/off-white) and Lenalena Kua Ula (off-white with red-dotted ends) colorings. The strands are connected by a 27mmX20mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the 'Āpu'upu'u (bumpy cowrie) variety with superbly-matched color.
This lei measures approximately 36 inches in length, creating a 18 inch 'drop length' when worn.
