NI'IHAU SHELL LEI PIKAKE LENALENA KUA ELE, POLEHOLEHO ELELU (2900-02)
Expertly crafted on the island of Ni'ihau Hawai'i, this lei is truly a work of art.
Strung in the Pikake style, each layer of shells interlaces seamlessly with the next.
All shells are of the Momi (Dove shell) variety with Lenalena (slightly yellow/off-white) coloring. Both strands are connected by a 21mmX10mm Pōleholeho (decorative shell which ties the ends of each strand together) of the Elelu (smooth cowrie) variety with a light gold color.
This lei measures approximately 35 inches in length, creating a 17.5 inch 'drop length' when worn.
